Why we employ Christians
Stepping Stones is a Christian organisation. We expect all staff to participate in corporate prayer and worship and all key workers must be ready to pray with clients and encourage them in the spiritual life (although our residents need not be Christian). Therefore we believe it is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (under the Equal Treatment Directive) that all employees must be Christians, with a living faith and active participation in a church.
